Anmat is an independent initiative that applies machine learning and text mining techniques to uncover bias in media coverage. We combine rigorous data science with journalistic ethics to foster a more balanced and transparent public discourse.
Our Projects
At Anmat, we focus on stories that receive massive media coverage and spark public attention or complaints. Using a data-driven approach and machine learning algorithms, we uncover the dominant framings that shape these narratives. We then invite journalists, researchers, and advocates to access our datasets and use them to report, analyze, and explain what’s really going on.
